On September 14, 2024, the technology achievement evaluation meeting for the "Key Technology and Equipment Research and Application of Ultra Energy saving Belt Conveyor System" project jointly developed by Libo Heavy Industry Technology Co., Ltd., Shandong University of Science and Technology, China Resources Building Materials Technology Holdings Co., Ltd., Libo Industrial Technology Research Institute (Shandong) Co., Ltd., China University of Mining and Technology, Shandong Ouruian Electric Co., Ltd. and other units was held at the user site of Runxin Company in Zhaoqing, Guangdong.

The China Nonferrous Metals Society organized 9 academicians and experts to conduct on-site inspections of the application of the results, review relevant appraisal materials, listen to project reports and inquiries. After strict evaluation, the expert group unanimously recognized that the project is a revolutionary technology iteration product of traditional conveyors, achieving a 35-50% reduction in energy consumption during system operation, significant energy-saving and carbon reduction effects, advanced technical performance indicators, and overall technical level reaching the international leading level.
The related technology of this achievement has innovated the traditional "roller support type" belt conveyor structure, and innovatively adopted the "double beam support mechanism" to effectively reduce the compression resistance during operation. The successfully developed ultra energy-saving belt conveyor equipment, along with the matching high torque density permanent magnet motor and intelligent control monitoring system, has the characteristics of low energy consumption and adaptability to complex environments, which helps users achieve energy-saving and emission reduction goals and strongly supports the national "dual carbon" strategy.
At the meeting, Zhou Manshan, Chairman of Libo Heavy Industry Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a speech on behalf of the company. He pointed out that innovation is the core driving force for enterprise development, and the scientific and technological achievements evaluated this time are in line with the national "dual carbon" strategy requirements.
