On September 25, 2024, a new book titled "Innovation Mission Responsibility - China's Top 100 Industry University Research Science and Technology Innovation Teams" showcasing classic cases of industry university research cooperation innovation teams was released in Beijing. The book selected 100 representative scientists, educators, and entrepreneurs, including 60 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and 40 leading talents in science and technology, as leaders of a science and technology innovation team, telling their advanced achievements and innovative stories in interdisciplinary and cross disciplinary deep cooperation.
The innovation team of Libo Technology has proudly included their outstanding innovation achievements and typical cases in this book as a tribute to the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Under the wise decision and careful guidance of Chairman Zhou Manshan, Libo Heavy Industry Group won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2019 and established the "Libo Innovation Institute". Over the past five years, Libo's scientific and technological innovation team has fulfilled its mission and led innovation. It has also cultivated a large number of outstanding science and technology innovation talents at the national, provincial, and municipal levels, greatly enhancing Libo Group's scientific and technological innovation strength. With practical actions, it actively practices the "deepening implementation of the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education, the strategy of strengthening the country through talent, and the strategy of innovation driven development" proposed in the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and strives to shape.
On September 25th, the "Welcoming National Day · Industry University Research Empowering New Quality Productivity Symposium" and the launching ceremony of "Innovation Mission Responsibility - China's Top 100 Industry University Research Science and Technology Innovation Teams" were held at the International Conference Center of Zhongguancun Software Park in Beijing. The meeting was hosted by the China Association for Industry University Research Cooperation, and President Wang Jianhua, some academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, leaders of relevant ministries and commissions, including the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the China National Intellectual Property Administration, the Chinese Academy of Administration, and the leading scientific and technological talent team participated in the meeting. Two deans of Libo Innovation Institute were invited to attend the conference in Beijing. The book 'Innovation Mission Responsibility - China's Top 100 Science and Technology Innovation Teams in Industry University Research Cooperation' was organized and compiled by the China Association for the Promotion of Industry University Research Cooperation. According to Wang Jianhua, the editor in chief of the book and the president of the China Association for the Promotion of Industry University Research Cooperation, the 100 innovative teams included in the book cover multiple fields such as life sciences, material sciences, space sciences, aerospace, integrated circuits, new generation information technology, artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, quantum technology, new energy, new materials, biomedicine, and agricultural technology. They have expanded the breadth and depth of technological innovation, achieved many important leading achievements at home and abroad, and presented readers with new models, mechanisms, achievements, and successful experiences of industry university research collaboration leading innovative development from different fields.
Among them, the book showcases multiple original fundamental research achievements led by academician Xue Qikun, the winner of the highest national science and technology award, in the fields of low dimensional nanostructure controlled growth and quantum phenomena research, quantum anomalous Hall effect and topological quantum computing, low dimensional high-temperature superconductivity and other cutting-edge research in condensed matter physics.
As one of the technological leaders in China's metallurgical industry, Academician Gan Yong, former Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, has led a team to engage in scientific and technological research and achievement transformation for more than 30 years, promoting the increase of China's steel continuous casting ratio from less than 10% to over 99%. He has played an important role in the development strategy research of new materials and the research of national scientific and technological innovation system mechanism.
The research team of new energy power systems led by Academician Ouyang Minggao has been closely following the forefront of national strategy for nearly 30 years, striving for progress, cultivating morality, and contributing to the scientific and industrial progress of the country in the fields of automotive power and new energy.
The team of Academician Wu Qiang is committed to scientific and engineering research on the prediction and prevention of mine water hazards, and has formed a scientific and technological innovation platform and achievement transformation platform with the distinctive feature of "coal mine water hazard prevention and control technology". They have achieved a series of major technological breakthroughs, including fine hydrogeological exploration of mines, comprehensive underground survey technology for mine water hazards, advanced exploration and treatment technology for collapse columns, key technology for safe mining of high pressure water in the bottom plate, and rapid treatment technology for sudden water disasters.
Academician Wang Guodong's team, starting from the high-quality development needs of China's steel industry, persistently builds a source of key common technologies for steel, focuses on the technical difficulties, pain points, and bottlenecks of the industry, concentrates on carrying out original and leading scientific and technological breakthroughs, and promotes the four in one innovation breakthrough of "basic research, technological innovation, achievement transformation, and industrial application" in China's steel field.
Academician Luo Xiwen's team, in response to the major needs of national agricultural engineering, conducted research on rice precision hole live broadcasting technology and precise farmland leveling technology in China, and successfully developed the "three synchronous" rice precision hole live broadcasting technology, paddy field laser leveling technology, and satellite signal leveling technology and equipment, which have reached the international leading level. They have broken through key core technologies such as full mechanization of rice production, agricultural machinery navigation, and Lingnan characteristic agricultural equipment, created the world's first unmanned rice farm, promoted the development of smart agriculture in China, and helped China move from an agricultural country to an agricultural powerhouse.
Academician Zheng Hairong's team has focused on the difficulties and pain points of independent innovation in medical equipment, breaking through the imaging methods, core components, and systems of medical imaging equipment such as high field human body superconducting fast magnetic resonance, functional ultrasound imaging, and regulation. Through close cooperation with leading enterprises, they have driven independent innovation in high-end medical equipment and achieved significant social and economic benefits.
In the case, the Ao Yingfang Technology Innovation Team from Peking University Third Hospital, guided by the major needs of China's sports medicine field, deepened the integration of industry, academia and research, and achieved significant theoretical and technological breakthroughs in basic and clinical research related to joint cartilage and ligament injuries and repair and reconstruction. They solved multiple key and difficult problems in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of sports system injuries, generated significant economic benefits and social value, and provided important support for the development of China's sports medicine industry.
The typical case selected by Libo's scientific and technological innovation team is the Plan for Challenging the "Scientific Research Blind Area" of Mineral Resources Transportation to Send to China under the "the Belt and Road" Initiative. Led by Professor Zhang Yuan, Libo's scientific and technological innovation team has been deeply engaged in the forefront of high-end equipment industry for mineral resources transportation all the year round. It has not only been brave in innovation but also focused on transformation, shouldering the important task of scientific and technological innovation given by history.
